A miniaturized 2.4 GHz re-entrant cavity has been designed, manufactured and tested as a sensor for microfluidic compositional analysis. It fully evaluated experimentally with water common solvents, namely methanol, ethanol, chloroform, excellent agreement the expected behaviour predicted by Debye model. The sensor's performance also assessed analysis of segmented flow using oil. samples' interaction electric field in gap region maximized aligning sample tube parallel to this region, small...

In this article, a highly sensitive and compact microwave sensor with quality factor (Q ≈3000) is proposed for identifying sensing liquid samples using central gap ring resonator (CGRR). The high Q result of surface current redistribution. Our designed to operate at 2.5 GHz an active region, where the sample flows, in which electric field its maximum amplitude. was simulated, fabricated, tested new application identify condition oil used as coolant insulating material high-voltage...

A new type of microwave microfluidic sensor is presented which allows the correction systematic errors in complex permittivity measurement when ambient temperature changes. The has been designed and fabricated using two half-wave microstrip resonators, where resonators have assembled with a common junction at input output ports transmission coefficients to be measured same ports. tested water sweep from 21 °C 39 °C. results show an excellent agreement between expected after procedure applied.

Abstract In this paper, a new type of microwave microfluidic sensor is presented, using three separate half wave microstrip resonators with common junction. The comprises parallel resonant frequencies 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 GHz. This exhibits all the usual advantages methods for dielectric liquid characterization, such as high precision, accuracy, sensitivity, but here also over wideband frequencies. have input output ports. was tested several types liquids, including water, methanol, ethanol,...

Abstract: Microwave diathermy (MD) improves knee osteoarthritis pain and function. However, non-adherence to this therapy remains a major concern. The equipment is expensive requires substantial deployment; thus, it's only available in professional physiotherapy facilities. Consequently, the practicality widespread applicability of heating are limited. Therefore, purpose study was present new modality treatment MD specialized for joints by developing an applicator that operates at 433.78 MHz...

This paper compares three different techniques that control the output voltage of a DC-DC converter working in continuous conduction mode, first technique is proportional-Integral-derivative controller, second one fuzzy logic and finally digital sliding mode controller. The sensed considered as variable value should be controlled. designed are simulated MATLAB/Simulink software dynamical response each derived order to choose adequate technique.
