Abstract The one‐step printing of fully functional electronic devices is one the main goals additive manufacturing. In general, this approach increasingly growing, being key developments manufacturing processes based on ultraviolet curing. reasons for increasing interest in UV curing technologies are its advantages, such as fast at room temperature, space and energy efficiency, high‐resolution patterns, solvent‐free formulations. Despite important developments, some challenges remain with...
Composites based on biocompatible thermoplastic elastomer styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS) as matrix and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) nanofillers show excellent mechanical piezoresistive properties from low to large deformations. The MWCNT/SEBS composites have been prepared following a green solvent approach, extend their range of applicability biomedical applications. obtained with 2, 4, 5 wt % MWCNT content provide suitable response up 80% deformation sensibility near 2.7,...
Piezoelectric inks have been developed based on poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-trifluoroethylene), PVDF-TrFE, dissolved in the environmentally friendly solvent N,N0-dimethylpropyleneurea (DMPU). The were prepared for different printing techniques, including doctor-blading, spray-printing, and screen-printing, representing therefore a relevant step additive manufacturing of sensors, actuators, touch screens, among others. rheological properties demonstrate that DMPU is good this polymer allows...
Organic photodetectors (PDs) based on printing technologies will allow to expand the current field of PD applications toward large-area and flexible in areas such as medical imaging, security, quality control, among others. Inkjet is a powerful digital tool for deposition smart functional materials various substrates, allowing development electronic devices PDs substrates. In this work, inkjet-printed arrays, organic thin-film transistor architecture, have been developed applied indirect...
We present a study of the effect very high pressure on orthorhombic perovskite GdMnO${}_{3}$ by Raman spectroscopy and synchrotron x-ray diffraction up to 53 GPa. The experimental results yield structural insulator-to-metal phase transition close 50 GPa, from an metrically cubic structure. is first order with hysteresis about 6 observed behavior under might well be general feature in rare-earth manganites.
This work is focused on the phase diagrams and physical properties of Y-doped Lu-doped EuMnO3. The differences in corresponding boundaries (x,T) diagram could be overcome by considering a scaling Y3+ Lu3+ concentrations to tolerance factor. outcome evidences that factor fact more reliable representative lattice deformation induced doping. normalization using corroborates previous theoretical outcomes regarding key role competitive FM AFM exchanges determining manganite perovskites. However,...
Printed electrodes were developed by screen-printing from an ink formulation a green solvent, new polymer binder, and graphite (anode) or C-LiFePO4 (cathode). The morphological electrochemical properties of the investigated compared to prepared with poly(vinylidene fluoride), PVDF, as binder. shows similar processability apparent viscosity 0.09 0.07 Pa s at 100 s–1 for cathode anode inks, respectively. morphology both is homogeneous, in relation performance, discharge capacity value film...
In this work we investigate the magnetic field dependence of Ag octahedra rotation (tilt) and B2g symmetric stretching modes frequencies at different temperatures. Our field-dependent Raman investigation 10 K is interpreted by an ionic displacive nature magnetically-induced ferroelectric phase transition. The increasing frequency tilt mode with gives evidence for increase MnO6 angle, which in turn leads to a weakening ferromagnetic exchange interaction, yielding necessary conditions onset...
Cement production demands an appropriate costs management tool to monitor the overall expenditures, calculate stocks, and especially improve control of activities that represent cement flow. This work aimed present a case study about application Activity Based Costing (ABC) in plant located Brazilian Northeast Region. The methodology consisted three main steps: characterization plant, diagnosis scenario before ABC implementation analysis practical application. findings allowed identification...
A generation of piezoresistive sensors (force or deformation) fully processed by printing technologies is increasingly being implemented in applications due to advantages as a large-area application, simple device, integration, and high flexibility. This work reports the development printed (5 × 5 sensor) matrix which an organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) placed each sensor allow readout independently thus reducing crosstalk between individual sensors. The manufacturing was carried out...
