In this paper, the synthesis, characterization, and investigation of electrocatalytic properties perovskites general formula PrMn0.5M0.5O3 (M = Cr, Fe, Co, Ni) are presented. The synthesis was conducted by solution combustion method using glycine as a fuel. perovskite with PrMn0.5Fe0.5O3 also synthesized sol–gel citric acid obtained were investigated X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), infrared spectroscopy, cyclic...
WO3 thin films were prepared by RF sputtering metallic tungsten onto glass substrates, followed thermal oxidation through annealing in air. This technique is straightforward, cost-efficient, and time-effective, achieving high deposition rates of 16 nm/min on average at 200 W magnetron power for the highly homogeneous W-metallic films. SEM/EDX analysis showed that after 450?C air, sputtered 269 nm thick with a round grain morphology (~30 nm) turned into 420 nearly stoichiometric transparent...
Bupleurum falcatum (Apiaceae) sensu lato includes multiple infraspecific taxa with longstanding taxonomic ambiguities, often resulting from incomplete morphological and chemical characterizations. Herein, diethyl ether extracts were analyzed four Balkan populations that tentatively identified as B. subsp. (syn. falcatum) cernuum sibthorpianum). Comprehensive chromatography spectroscopic techniques (GC-MS 1D/2D NMR) enabled the isolation of several newly aliphatic polyunsaturated esters,...
Transmission infrared, Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) and Raman spectra of crystalline methylammonium iodide (MAI) formamidinium (FAI) in the temperature interval starting from –170 ºC to 200 were studied. The recorded region 4000 500 cm–1 enabled resolving ambiguities associated with origin some bands. For first time a complete detailed vibrational investigation assignment IR these compounds based on differences dependent for all phases, including metastable ones, have been made....
In the last decade, most investigated perovskite materials are hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) due to their optoelectronic properties and possible application in production of photovoltaics. This interest has led an ongoing search for new HOIP variants, alongside thorough investigations existing HOIPs. That is why our research field aimed at synthesis, characterization, investigation electrochemical dimethylammonium lead iodide (DMAPbI3) using voltammetric studies. A modified...

Quantification of the amount maximum loaded 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysylil (APS) on a thermally pretreated silica gel (600 ºC) was performed using IR spectroscopy. A possibility to find load through construction Langmuir isotherm not possible due irreversibility chemisorption reaction. The method used in this work based analysis toluene solution quantity non-reacted APTMS after saturation surface with APS. process monitored via increasing band intensity CH2 and...

Earlier publications of the series "A Safe Way Performing Dangerous Experiments" were devoted to two instances dangerous experiments and applied approaches appeared be safe enough for both instructor audience. Here, we present results obtained by systematic study reactions between Li, Na K with concentrated water solutions hydrohalic acids using a safety box. Video clips all prepared as an aid those that lack experience and/or necessary materials performance demonstrations. Also detailed...
A simple and economic way of conducing demonstration experiments about liquid–liquid phase transitions is presented discussed. Pairs liquids are sealed in a series ampoules each ampoule put beaker filled with either ice or hot water. Depending on the nature components mixed, system can become homogeneous heterogeneous. Three kinds systems discussed: upper critical temperature, lower both temperature.
The interesting properties of the perovskite materials, especially organic-inorganic ones are consequence their structural characteristics. In order to define origin these properties, a detailed characterization involving analysis with vibrational spectroscopy techniques has been undertaken. this work several inorganic and lead iodide perovskites (RbPbI3, CsPbI3, CH3NH3PbI3, CH(NH2)2PbI3, C(NH2)3PbI3, (CH3)2NHPbI3, (CH2)4NH2PbI3) were investigated by means at room low temperature X-ray...
