Abstract The distribution of ultraviolet (UV) radiation field provides critical constraints on the physical environments molecular clouds. Within 1 kpc our solar system and fostering protostars different masses, giant clouds in Gould Belt present an excellent opportunity to resolve UV structure star-forming regions. We performed spectral energy (SED) fitting archival data from Herschel Survey (HGBS). Dust radiative transfer analysis with DUSTY code was applied 23 regions 14 complexes Belt,...

Taking into account the issues faced by self-driving vehicles in multilane expressway scenarios, a lane-change decision planning framework that considers two adjacent lanes is proposed. Based on this framework, lateral stability of an autonomous vehicle under near-limit conditions during lane change studied phase-plane method. Firstly, state-machine-based driving logic designed and method proposed to design intention based surrounding traffic information consider influence motion state other...

We investigate the infall properties in a sample of 11 infrared dark clouds (IRDCs) showing blue-asymmetry signatures HCO+J=1–0 line profiles. used JCMT to conduct mapping observations HCO+J=4–3 as well single-point HCO+J=3–2, towards 23 clumps these IRDCs. applied HILL model fit and derived velocities range 0.5–2.7 km s−1, with median value 1.0 obtained mass accretion rates 0.5–14 × 10−3 M⊙yr−1. These values are comparable those found massive star forming later evolutionary stages. IRDC...

Abstract We present high-sensitivity CH 9 cm ON/OFF observations toward 18 extragalactic continuum sources that have been detected with OH absorption in the Millennium survey Arecibo telescope. emission was 6 of sources. The excitation temperature has derived directly through analyzing all ON and OFF velocity components. 3335 MHz transition ranges from −54.5 to −0.4 K roughly follows a log-normal distribution peaking within [−5, 0] K, which implies overestimation by 20% more than 10 times...

Ground resonance (GR) is a potentially destructive mechanical instability involving the coupling of regressive rotor mode to fuselage motion. Vibration can be disastrous if measures are not taken in time mitigate vibrations. This paper presents study on use adaptive landing gear eliminate GR helicopters. A model considering established, and dynamic characteristics system analyzed. In this paper, Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller applied suppress GR. The setting weighting matrix...
