The effects of different sucrose concentrations, light spectra, and plant growth regulators on in vitro tuberization yam (Dioscorea sp.) were determined. A completely randomized experimental design was used a factorial arrangement, with five replications. In the first experiment, three concentrations (30, 60, 90 g.L-1) four naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) (0.0, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0 mg.L-1) tested. highest percentage observed use g.L-1 sucrose, regardless NAA used. Greater diameter (7.88 mm) fresh...
<title>Abstract</title> The aim of the present study was to evaluate genetic diversity genotypes Dioscorea sp. originating from states Brazilian Northeast region (Sergipe, Bahia, Alagoas, and Paraíba) through morphological molecular characterization. For this evaluation, 52 yam were collected market locations directly rural growers. Morphological characterization made use 31 descriptors for crop. environmental coefficient variation (CVe) most evaluated greater...
ABSTRACT: Yam is a tuber vegetable crop with vegetative propagation. The low yielding due to the difficulty of obtaining quality material for propagation and high cost acquisition. cutting technique new alternative yam. present studyevaluated production minitubers yam through cuttings, follow formational growth minitubers. Different types obtained from three positions on shoots, substrates were tested. cuttings did not significantly affect number per cutting, this ranging 1.18 1.75. best...
