This paper explores in detail the possible approaches to. design of voltage- or current-controllable linear transconductance elements needed for continuous-time CMOS active filters. The focus is on circuit configurations, techniques achieving linearity, and temperature compensation using controlling variable. Circuit obtaining small transductance values are outlined. Simulation results presented.

Power system state estimation approximates the of power using a sparse metering infrastructure. For optimal placement measurement stations, observability and reliability requirements must be considered. In this work an meter algorithm is used with objective function that combines both monetary cost reduction topological distribution, as well number critical measurements sets. investigation, degree meshing increased or decreased by closing breakers switching off lines, respectively....

ABSTRACT This paper presents a method for determining local reactive power control characteristics distributed energy resources. Based on historical time series, an optimal dispatch is calculated. The minimises multi‐criteria objective function that allows the reduction of grid losses while complying with desired vertical exchange overlaid and operational constraints. From resulting operating points, individual can be determined by piecewise linear regression then clustered to reduce...

The hybrid electromagnetic (EMT) and root-mean square (RMS) simulation is an effective method for investigating the dynamic performance of a AC/DC transmission system. This work presents flexible combined EMT RMS framework, including RMS-type framework based on unified fault matrix AC networks. Both symmetrical unsymmetrical short circuits can be simulated in network just through selecting corresponding matrix. comprehensive developed using MATLAB/Simulink, with each component meticulously...

Abstract The traditional Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) is a well‐established methodology in the chemical industry for hazard identification risk analysis, also known as Process Analysis (PHA). However, its deviation‐based approach can lead to inefficiencies, fragmented reviews, increased team fatigue. Flow Failure Modes (PFFM) was introduced an efficient alternative, evaluating based on natural process flow, recognizing that each piece of equipment has knowable failure modes. PFFM's...

The authors describe the negative impedance converter, a simple analog building block which can be readily implemented in CMOS. They present circuit based on inverse-function approach, providing precise temperature-compensated linear operation. Applications include single-pin crystal oscillators, zero-impedance current sensing, and wideband integration. Simulated measured characteristics are good agreement, show that useful resistance obtained to over 10 MHz.< <ETX...

For investors of wind farms projects, it is indispensable to get reliable prognosis the expected energy produced per year, taking into account technical failures and stochastic characteristic wind. This applies especially for offshore with higher installation costs difficult maintenance conditions. The repair components located on sea may take many days or even weeks because limited access caused by bad weather Additionally, transmission system operators which are providing point common...

Abstract Drilling dynamics models play an important role in drilling performance optimization. These can be classified as engineering tools or research tools, depending on functionality. Engineering are designed for everyday use; they provide estimates of parameters planning purposes, such natural frequencies and buckling loads. Research describe the physics problem more completely, thus powerful. They allow complex phenomena to studied great detail, but require a greater investment time...
