Abstract. In the present study, WRF-CHEM model is used to evaluate contributions of trans-boundary transport air quality in Beijing during a persistent pollution episode from 5 14 July 2015 Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei (BTH), China. Generally, predicted temporal variations and spatial distributions PM2.5 (fine particulate matter), O3 (ozone), NO2 are good agreement with observations BTH. The also reproduces reasonably well aerosol species compared measurements Beijing. factor separation approach...

In this work, g-C3N4@TiO2 nanostructures with hollow sphere morphology, small grain size, high crystalline quality, and surface area are successfully synthesized by the annealing method using melamine hollowsphere precursor, which could be a universal to synthesis nanoheterojunction. Excellent photocatalytic property was observed from as-prepared nanostructure 466.43 μmol·g-1·h-1 hydrogen generation rate under visible light irradiation (>420 nm), 5.5 times as much control couple,...

Abstract Large amounts of anthropogenic CO 2 in the atmosphere are taken up by ocean, which leads to ‘ocean acidification’ (OA). In addition, increasing application nanoparticles inevitably their increased release into aquatic environment. However, impact OA on bioaccumulation marine organisms still remains unknown. This study investigated effects a model nanoparticle, titanium dioxide (nTiO ), three edible bivalves. All species tested accumulated significantly greater amount nTiO p...

A novel porous carbon nanosheet was successfully fabricated by a one-step annealing process with folic acid as the source in absence of any other reagents or templates. The product exhibited large specific surface area and good porosity. Meanwhile, nanosheets metal-free catalyst showed high electrocatalytic activity toward oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) alkaline solution, including superior onset potentials well nearly four-electron pathway.

Background Air pollution has been recognized as an untraditional risk factor for myocardial infarction (MI). However, the MI attributable to long‐term exposure fine particulate matter ≤2.5 μm in aerodynamic diameter (PM 2.5 ) is unclear, especially younger populations, and few studies have represented general population or had power examine comorbidities. Methods Results We applied difference‐in‐differences approach estimate relationship between annual PM hospitalizations among US residents...

Soil water repellency affects soil movement during infiltration significantly. The HYDRUS software has been popularly applied in dynamics simulation for many years, but its performance water-repellent (WR) soils not assessed thoroughly. Our objectives are to assess the of HYDRYUS-1D cumulative (CI), wetting front (Z f ), and volumetric content (θ v ) horizontal imbibition vertical wettable, slightly WR, strongly WR soils. key parameters α n retention curves were inversely estimated by...

Abstract Layered metal monochalcogenides have attracted significant interest in the 2D family since they show different unique properties from their bulk counterparts. The comprehensive synthesis, characterization, and optoelectrical applications of 2D‐layered tin monosulfide (SnS) grown by pulsed laser deposition are reported. Few‐layer SnS‐based field‐effect transistors (FETs) photodetectors fabricated on Si/SiO 2 substrates. premium SnS FETs yield an on/off ratio 3.41 × 10 6 , a...
