EXOSAT observations of the spectrum Seyfert 1 galaxy MKN 841 show that it is well-fitted by a power law photon index 1.6, similar to other Seyferts, and large additional soft component. The X-ray luminosity over observed band exceeds |$4\times{10}^{44}\,\text{erg}\,\text{s}^{-1}$|. A single-temperature blackbody fit X-rays short-wavelength ultraviolet continuum gives |$2\times{10}^{46}\,\text{erg}\,\text{s}^{-1}$| while an accretion disc fitted same points...
We report the observation by Compton Gamma Ray Observatory of a spectacular flare radio source PKS 1622-297. A peak flux (17 ± 3) × 10-6 cm-2 s-1 (E > 100 MeV) was observed. The corresponding isotropic luminosity is 2.9 1049 ergs s-1. find that 1622-297 exhibits γ-ray intraday variability. increase factor at least 3.6 observed to occur in less than 7.1 hr (with 99% confidence). Assuming an exponential rise, doubling time 3.8 hr. significant decrease ~2 9.7 also Without beaming, rapid change...

We report the discovery of a nearby star with very large proper motion 505 ± 003 yr-1. The is called SO 025300.5+165258 and referred to herein as high (HPMS). came result search SkyMorph database, sensitive persistent survey that well suited for finding stars motions. There are currently only seven known motions greater than 5'' spectrum measured tangential velocity indicate HPMS main-sequence spectral type M6.5. Trigonometric photometric parallaxes have been determined, yielding distance...
Collisions between clusters of galaxies are investigated to determine whether the systems will survive their first encounter. Numerical simulations show that two can pass through one another without destroying individual optical components. The gas in be strongly affected and cooling flows them may disrupted.

We describe an online system for automated classification of X-ray sources, ClassX, and we present preliminary results the three major catalogs ROSAT All-Sky Survey (RASS) Bright Source Catalog, RASS Faint WGACAT, into six class categories: stars, white dwarfs, binaries, galaxies, active galactic nuclei, clusters galaxies. ClassX is based on a machine-learning technology. It represents classifiers, each classifier consisting considerable number oblique decision trees. These trees are built...
The Optical Monitor Catalog of serendipitous sources (OMCat) contains entries for every source detected in the publicly available XMM-Newton (OM) images taken either imaging or "fast" modes. Since OM is coaligned and records data simultaneously with X-ray telescopes on XMM-Newton, it typically produces one more near-UV optical bands pointing observatory. As beginning 2006, public archive had covered roughly 0.5% sky 2950 fields. OMCat not dominated by previously undetected at other...
Mosquito-borne diseases pose a significant threat in many Southeast Asian countries, particularly through the sylvatic cycle, which has wildlife reservoir forests and rural areas. Studying composition diversity of vectors pathogen transmission is especially challenging areas due to their remoteness, limited accessibility, lack power, underdeveloped infrastructure. This study based on WHO mosquito sampling protocol, modifies technical details support collection difficult-to-access...

The SkyView virtual observatory provides a single, simple interface where users can retrieve images of the sky at all wavelengths from radio through gamma rays. Below we discuss how works and it represents new paradigm in astronomical data archives. Users get to over WorldWideWeb http://skyview.gsfc.nasa.gov . Within few moments they have high-quality ground- or satellite-based surveys.
NASA regards data handling and archiving as an integral part of space missions, has a strong track record serving astrophysics to the public, beginning with IRAS satellite in 1983. Archives enable major science return on significant investment required develop mission. We describe observations of the quasi-stellar object (QSO) NRAO 190 during a gamma-ray flare from 1994 August 9 to 29. This QSO was serendipitously detected by EGRET instrument on Compton Gamma Ray Observatory in with luminosity at least 10 times that its quiescent state. Optical, radio, and microwave data were obtained or near observations.
