The aim of this study is to investigate long-term outcomes open repair (OR) versus endovascular (EPAR) for popliteal artery aneurysms (PAAs) in an elective setting. A retrospective analysis was performed on all patients treated a aneurysm with OR and EPAR between 2010 2020 two high-volume centers. Primary endpoints were freedom from amputation overall patency. Secondary included secondary patency, re-interventions rates predictors late failure. Follow-up protocol clinical examination DUS at...
The superficial femoral artery (SFA) is a relatively rare location for lower limb aneurysmatic disease. In the literature, this disease described an association between high growth rate and/or rupture of aneurysms and chemotherapeutic agents. We report case giant SFA aneurysm in patient during chemotherapy acute lymphatic leukemia.
Pelvic arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a rare condition mostly requiring complex therapeutic strategy. The surgical approach challenging and burdened by relatively high mortality morbidity rates. No guidelines are available for the endovascular treatment of AVM because literature limited to small case series reports. We present pelvic associated with an internal iliac artery aneurysm in patient previously treated common external prosthetic substitution proximal ligation artery.
Abstract: Venous ultrasonography is an indispensable tool in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of varicose veins. However, criteria defining preoperative imaging parameters, outcome monitoring, and follow up are not well characterized. In this retrospective study, we reviewed ultrasound periprocedural parameters outcomes 274 patients (280 limbs) after endoluminal laser treatment, at early (<30 days) late (1–60 months) up. Treatment failure was defined as complete recanalization...
We report the case of a physician-modified four-fenestration endograft for emergent treatment 65-year-old patient with postdissection thoracoabdominal aneurysm deemed unfit open surgery. The patient, after elective thoracic endovascular repair as first stage preplanned two-stage total repair, presented acute onset dyspnea and pain. Computed tomography angiography (CTA) showed signs contained rupture. Valiant Navion was used creation stent graft. A diameter-reducing wire technique to...
