Significance Tissue-on-chip systems offer important capabilities in engineering of living tissues for diverse biomedical applications disease model studies, drug screening, and regenerative medicine. Conventional approaches use two-dimensional layouts that cannot suppport interfaces to geometrically complex three-dimensional (3D) tissue constructs a deterministic fashion. Here, we present concepts allow intimate contact with stable mechanical coupling 3D high-precision measurements...

Abstract Background Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging tick-borne infectious disease, and its morbidity mortality are increasing. At present, there no specific therapy available. An exacerbated IFN-I response cytokine storm related to the of patients SFTS. Ruxolitinib a Janus kinase (JAK) 1/2 inhibitor that can block proinflammatory cytokines inhibit type I IFN pathway. We aimed explore use ruxolitinib plus standard care for severe Methods conducted...

Fast frequency hopping (FFH) is a powerful antijamming method. Nevertheless, channel estimation in FFH difficult issue and even once was deemed impractical. over fading channels usually adopts noncoherent schemes that suffer from combination loss low spectral efficiency. To address these issues, this letter, we propose subset-based coherent (S-CFFH) scheme. The proposed scheme partitions the set into number of subsets. By controlling size subset, ensure each hopped recurs within coherence...

Fast frequency hopping (FFH) system is an effective method to combat jamming in military applications. In FFH over fading channels, noncoherent detected shift keying (FSK) commonly used. this paper, we derived the error performance of a based on coherently binary phase (BPSK) Rayleigh channel. The type assumed be multitone (MTJ). channel estimation affected by additive while Gaussian noise (AWGN) and MTJ.

Fast frequency hopping (FFH) is commonly used as an antijamming communication method. In this paper, we propose efficient adaptive jamming suppression schemes for binary phase shift keying (BPSK) based coherent FFH system, namely, weighted equal gain combining (W-EGC) with the optimum and suboptimum weighting coefficient. We analyze bit error ratio (BER) of EGC W-EGC receivers partial band noise (PBNJ), selective Rayleigh fading, channel estimation errors. Particularly, closed-form BER...

Conventionally, fast frequency hopping (FFH) is regarded as a non-coherent system, which has inevitable shortcomings in low spectral efficiency. To achieve high efficiency while maintaining favourable bit error ratio (BER) performance FFH systems, this study, the authors extend their previously proposed subset-based coherent (S-CFFH) scheme with aid of spatial modulation (SM). Furthermore, they derive closed-form expressions pairwise probability and asymptotically BER bound for S-CFFH/SM...

Trypanosomiasis continues to pose a global threat human health, with infection mainly caused by Trypanosoma brucei and cruzi. We present 30-year-old pregnant woman persistent high fever from Shandong Province, China. High-throughput sequencing revealed the presence of dionisii in blood. conducted an analysis patient's clinical, epidemiological, virological data. The patients exhibited fever, shortness breath, chest tightness, accompanied change liver function inflammatory response. She made...

Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease a high mortality rate that often underdiagnosed due to the limitations of current laboratory testing. Timely diagnosis and early identification severe cases are crucial improving patient outcomes overall survival rates. This study aimed evaluate efficacy two transcripts, IFI44L PI3, in differentiation between SFTS virus (SFTSV) infection bacterial sepsis, as well prompt during epidemic seasons. In...

The recently proposed subset-based coherent fast frequency hopping (S-CFFH) scheme enables reliable channel estimation for FFH over fading channel. With S-CFFH/16-QAM, we propose the optimum and suboptimum maximum-likelihood (ML) receivers in presence of partial band noise jamming (PBNJ), frequency-selective Rayleigh fading, Gaussian errors. We analyze bit error ratio (BER) ML receiver, whose BER performance is nearly same as receiver. analyses are verified by simulations. It shown that,...

The subset-based coherent fast frequency hopping (S-CFFH), was recently proposed to enable reliable channel estimation and schemes for FFH over fading channels. In this paper, we analyze the maximum-likelihood (ML) receiver S-CFFH/binary phase shift keying (BPSK), with partial band noise jamming (PBNJ), selective Rayleigh fading, imperfect state information (CSI). expressions of closed-form bit error ratio (BER) are presented, results validated by simulations. It is shown that ML...

In this paper we studied frequency estimation using pulse pairs. First modified two methods based on the idea of residual signal estimate, whose variance are shown be close to Cramer-Rao bound (CRB). Then propose a method pair simplify iterative filter method, which is able achieve CRB asymptotically. Through simulation, all three perform efficiently even at short data length, without cumbersome grid search applied in MLE.
