Many studies have analyzed the road characteristics that affect severity of truck crashes. However, most these only examined alignment or grade separately, without considering their combined effects. The purpose this article is to address gap in literature. Our study uses crash data from 2015 2019 on freeways Yunnan Province China, where levels crashes were determined by taking into account economic loss and number injuries fatalities. develops three models examine crashes: a multinomial...

Overloaded transport can certainly improve transportation efficiency and reduce operating costs. Nevertheless, several negative consequences are associated with this illegal activity, including road subsidence, bridge collapse, serious casualties caused by accidents. Given the complexity variability of mountainous highways, study examines 1862 overloaded-truck-related crashes that happened in Yunnan Province, China, attempts to analyze key factors contributing injury severity. This is first...

Cycling has always been popular in China, especially during the years when government encouraged green travel. Many people participate rides to ease traffic congestion and increase transfer convenience. Due disorganized tidal nature of cycling, cyclists create many conflicts with other groups. Adolescents are vulnerable road users a strong curiosity risk-taking mindset. Identifying factors influencing adolescents' aggressive riding behavior can assist developing strategies prevent this...

The severe impact of traffic accidents, along with a large number deaths and disabilities, necessitates further improvements in rescue path optimization. To make the emergency more efficient furthermore ensure health care life-saving mitigating congestion as soon possible, methodology for vehicle optimization, timing co-evolutionary optimization (TCEPO), is proposed to optimize path. Distinguishing from conventional online re-optimization (OLRO) (CEPO), TCEPO, each process co-evolves future...

Vehicle rear-end collisions are primarily caused by tight car following in a continuous traffic flow, as well driver’s incorrect perception of the environment ahead and delayed response. To facilitate an investigation pertaining to collision mechanisms accurately measure risk, concept vehicle group is introduced herein. A risk measurement model for (RMVG) based on temporal spatial similarities proposed. First, vehicles categorized their similarities. Risk metrics defined composition,...

Targeting at some problems such as the control of a single authority and guarantee privacy multi-authority, this paper proposes double-blind multi-authority e-voting system based Ghadafi’s group blind signature SP-signature. By introducing solves problem authority. using SP-signature, voters cannot vote for others. The new voter can protect confidentiality voting information Finally, security is analyzed which includes eligibility, privacy, universal verifiability, uncoercibility,...

To investigate highway vehicle lane-changing behavior, we utilized the publicly available naturalistic driving dataset, HighD, to extract movement data of vehicles involved in lane changes and their proximate counterparts. We employed univariate multivariate Cox proportional hazards models alongside random survival forest analyze influence various factors on change duration, assess statistical significance, compare performance multiple models. Our findings indicate that several variables...

In this paper, we consider uniform machine scheduling problem with deteriorating jobs and rejection. Each job's processing time is a linear nondecreasing function of its starting time. A job can be rejected by paying penalty cost. The objective to minimize the sum makespan accepted total rejection jobs. We propose fully polynomial-time approximation scheme (FPTAS), which shows that NP-hard in ordinary sense.

This paper presents a method to predict the instantaneous rear-end conflict risk of individual cars based on trajectory data that uses Time Collision (TTC) identify risk. Features from 1 5 s before occurs are extracted, including vehicle's driving status, interaction with preceding car and macro traffic state, while vehicles without extracted as control. Filtered features used build Random Forest XGBoost models before. The results show prediction effective, accuracy recall 3 prior surpassing...
