This paper focuses on the circular economy (CE), building industry, and disruptive technological innovations that intersect in these arenas. It outlines how disruptive, often digital, technologies can potentially enable a CE primarily within two most wasteful phases of cycle, construction demolition phases. is achieved through an analysis potential each technology type to CE, using existing literature desktop research applied examples solutions question. The aims clarify implementation...

Abstract This paper discusses a novel, compact sound absorption solution with high performance at various frequencies, including low achieved through the effective use of Computational Design and Additive Manufacturing (AM). Sound is widely applied for reducing noise improving room acoustics; however, it often constrained by conventional design, material properties production techniques, which offer limited options customising performance. research highlights that AM, in combination...

In this experiment, a commercial Quantum-Key-Distribution (QKD) system from Toshiba was integrated into carrier-grade Fiber to the Home (FTTH) optical access network. The setup replicated real-life FTTH deployments with 1:16 user GPON configuration. QKD transmission occurred over total of 4km consisting two spitting stages. By optimizing powers, link 17 kbps Secure Key Rate (SKR) and 4.63% Quantum Bit Error (QBER) achieved, while maintaining 9 operational ONTs providing high-speed internet...

Certification is the means to promote excellence through adherence best practices, and ensure appropriate security transparency, in alignment regulations set by market (various levels of) administrations. In mobile telecommunications domain, certification for radio equipment user terminals has been a fundamental practice. With 3GPP5G specifications, novel core network (5GC) model comes dynamic, open 5G services enable programmability standard APIs unlocking intelligence vertical application...

In recent years, natural disaster and military conflicts forced vast numbers of people to flee their home countries, contributing the migration crisis we are facing today. According UNHCR, number forcibly displaced worldwide reached highest level since World War II. Post-disaster housing is by nature diverse dynamic, having satisfy unique socio-cultural economical requirements. Currently, however, emergencies tackled inefficiently. strategies characterized a high economic impact waste...
