Platelet dysfunction is a common cause of bleeding after coronary artery bypass graft (CAG) surgery. Anaesthesia in the presence of a mediastinal mass is known to be hazardous. We report case 5‐year‐old boy with presumed postviral pericardial effusion presenting for pericardiocentesis under general anaesthesia. Cardiorespiratory collapse following induction anaesthesia occurred due an undiagnosed tumour. The reasons misdiagnosis, mechanisms perioperative complications and optimal management are discussed. Mediastinal masses underlying malignancy should always considered patients large effusions.
The cutaneous manifestation of dengue is a maculopapular blanchable erythema over the body that spares palms and soles. We report case serologically proven, uncomplicated fever in lady who developed macular morbilliform with islands sparing plantar regions bilateral soles on day 8 disease. This phenomenon has not yet been reported literature.
