In the present work, an innovative range of foams, based on flax gum-filled epoxy resin was developed, reinforced or not by fibers. Foams and composites with different gum contents were produced characterized for mechanical thermal performances. To enhance organic filler's cross-linking, we exploited oxidized components' reactivity amine hardener (isophorone diamine). We compared materials obtained those derived from native components. Flax fibers primarily chemical...

The growing awareness of the environment and sustainable development has prompted search for solutions involving bio-based composite materials insulating applications, offering an alternative to traditional synthetic such as glass- carbon-reinforced composites. In this study, we investigate thermal microstructural properties new biocomposite derived from flaxseed-gum-filled epoxy, with without inclusion reinforced flax fibers. A theoretical approach is proposed estimate conductivity, while...

GafChromic DM-100 dosemeters were used to measure absorbed doses in liquid samples exposed a 137Cs gamma ray source. The initial calibration of the commercially available film was performed using 60Co rays. A comparison simultaneously irradiated bare and mocked simulate shows importance irradiation under conditions as nearly identical that actual possible. In addition, dosemeter response dose for two different batches film, temperatures at time delay before readout, examined. reproducibility...

This study investigates the impact of interruption injections on transfer and retention suspended particles (SP) in granular media. Columns packed with sand were operated laboratory, a series experiments SP conducted: first by injecting without interrupting injection, second third 3 pauses injection 24 h 48 h, respectively. Results showed that interrupted induced significant release showing peaks concentration effluent immediately after pause periods. These increase durations. Interruption...

Abstract Radiochromatic dye dosimetry was used to measure kilogray doses absorbed by various liquid samples during gamma ray exposure in a spent nuclear fuel pool. The source of the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) at Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL). Calibrations were performed using 60Co and run on bare dosemeters, as well dosemeters which mocked simulate samples. These prepared dye-impregnated nylon film are commercially available. When exposed 0.5 200 kGy, colour change occurs has...

Liver-spleen scintigrams were performed in 42 patients with chronic hepatosplenic schistosomiasis. The scan patterns found are described and classified five stages of increasing hepatic involvement. scintigraphic classification correlates well clinical parameters disease severity. With higher stages, the number symptoms severity complications increase. liver-spleen provides a simple accurate means to determine extent involvement probabilities this disease.

In this paper, we address the following problem due to Frankl and Füredi (1984). What is maximum number of hyperedges in an $r$-uniform hypergraph with $n$ vertices, such that every set $r+1$ vertices contains $0$ or exactly $2$ hyperedges? They solved for $r=3$. For $r=4$, a partial solution given by Gunderson Semeraro (2017) when $n=q+1$ some prime power $q\equiv3\pmod{4} $. Assuming existence skew-symmetric conference matrices order divisible $4$, give $n\equiv0\pmod{4} $ $n\equiv3\pmod{4}$.

In semi-arid regions, managed aquifer recharge (MAR) is seen as an efficient solution among others for protecting groundwater resources.Clogging one of the major issues that can reduce durability facilities. As a consequence clogging soils by suspended matter, permeability, and porosity, therefore exchange between surface water are reduced. To our knowledge, few researchers have studied mechanism MAR in region according to hydrologic conditions field. The main objective present work study...
