In the present study, impacts of various concentrations Aflatoxin B 1 (AFB 1) on Beluga, Huso huso, under controlled conditions were investigated. Belugas (120±10g) fed diets containing 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 ppb AFB 1/kg diet for 3 months. Results showed levels do not significantly affect specific growth ratio (SGR) (P<0.05) fish in different treatments. However, weight gain food conversion (FCR) varied (P<0.05 between control treatments with contaminated 75 100ppb after 90 days). The...

This research evaluated the influences of two autochthonous probiotics Lactococcus lactis and Weissella confusa, on growth performance, feed conversion efficiency, haematological parameters, immune status intestinal morphology Huso huso fingerlings. Fingerlings (N: 480; initial weight, 2.92 ± 0.01 g) were randomly dispersed in four treatments (three replicates) fed with diet (crude protein 47%) that fortified by ciberia (PB0: control; PB1.5: 1.5 × 107; PB3: 3 PB4.5: 4.5 107) for 56 days. The...

Little is known about molecular mechanisms involved in gonad differentiation sturgeon species. In non-mammalian vertebrates, sox9, dmrt1, cyp17a1 and ar are male specific genes testicular highly conserved. order to understand the mechanism underlying development sturgeon, we investigated sex steroids level of 11-ketotestosterone (KT) testosterone (T) relative expression great gonads during different stages sexual maturity. The results showed all studied had dimorphic patterns males. immature...

Abstract The size and number of chloride cells serum ion concentrations in kutum, Rutillus frisii kutum Nordman, from brackish (Caspian Sea) fresh water (Khoshkrood River) environments were studied to gain a better understanding osmoregulation this species. Twenty mature specimens collected the Caspian Sea (Anzali coasts, 8.49 ppt salinity 12.4°C temperature) 20 Khoshkrood River (0.18 18°C temperature). Gill samples analyzed histologically Na + , Cl - K Mg2 ions determined blood serum....

Abstract Status of serum electrolyte and nonelectrolyte variables can be used for managing sturgeon species cultured in freshwater or living seawater. The aim the present study was to evaluate biochemical clinically healthy juvenile Persian Acipenser persicus freshwater. Serum samples from 11 females 10 males were analyzed, levels (mean ± SD) following compared between sexes: glucose (Glc; 5.58 1.25 mmol/L 8.56 1.80 males), total cholesterol (TC; 2.50 0.45 2.40 0.65 mmol/L), triglyceride...

Zinc is one of an environmental water pollutant, added to diet and as a micronutrient for increase plankton production fish growth. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aims studying on histopathology Zn(NO3)2toxicity gill liver tissues silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) within period 96 h. Totally, 135 fishes mean weight 50 ± 10 g were stocked in 12 aquariums capacity 200 L divided 3 trails including control, 5 ppm Zn replicates. Tissue samples fixed by buin’s solution...

We studied sex and maturity stage of great sturgeon with different reproductive stages using steroid hormones concentrations in blood plasma, gonad histology laparoscopic technique. One hundred sixty farmed sturgeons at ages between 1 +12 years weight ranged from 0.45 to 49.65 kg (80 males 80 females, 20 fish each stage) were selected. Mean levels showed that testosterone (T) 11ketotestosterone (11KT) plasma varied significantly by stage. But the mean 17B-estradiol (E2) only I III. All...

Persian sturgeon (Acipenser persicus) is one of the most valuable species fish native in Caspian Sea and Iran's waters. In order to evaluate heritability reproductive traits wild (A. three males  females’ were caught southern area then crossed by using a 3×3 factorial with aim selecting best parent produce good larvae. Four groups eggs (450 g) incubated in Youshchenkov[X1]  incubators with three replications for each treatment. experiment was conducted during an 8- day period incubation.
