In the present work authors report result of their food ethnobotanical researches, which have been carried out in Sicily during last thirty years. Data concerning 188 wild species used traditional Sicilian cuisine are reported. The underline those that partially or completely unknown for culinary use and they illustrate other local inhabitants suggested prevention treatment symptomatologies caused by a refined diet, poor vegetables. Abstract The essential oil from aerial parts of Anisochilus carnosus (Linn. fil.) Benth. (Lamiaceae) was obtained by hydrodistillation. content 0.13% (v/w), on a fresh weight basis. composition analysed GC and GC–MS 28 compounds were identified, accounting for 94.3% the oil. Carvacrol (27.9%), camphor (14.1%) α ‐ cis ‐bergamotene (10.2%) most abundant components. is active against Gram‐positive Gram‐negative bacteria. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
Urological complications (UC) following kidney transplantation (KT) are associated with increased morbidity. The aim of this study is to evaluate the risk factors for UC in era “extended criteria donors” (ECD) and their impact on patient graft survivals.
