Abstract Simultaneous absence of the IgG1, IgG2, IgG4 and IgA1 immunoglobulins has been unambiguously demonstrated in a healthy 75‐year‐old woman by testing for allotypes, isoallotypes isotypes these four subclasses. Only IgM, IgD, IgG3, IgA2 IgE were present. The IgG3 levels significantly increased. Family investigation showed inheritance haplotype Gm −;−;b A2m 2 . This person is homozygous an extensive DNA deletion including Cγ1, Cγ2, Cγ4 Cα1 genes.

The constant region of the gamma 1, 2 and 3 heavy chains human IgG1, IgG2 IgG3 immunoglobulins carries antigenic determinants or G1m, G2m G3m allotypes, which are genetic markers these subclasses. exceptional presence on 1 Gm allotypes usually located CH3 domain shows an unexpected clustering base changes subsequent identity short DNA sequences in exon non-allelic genes. Such clusters substitutions not easily explained classical basis point mutations. A gene conversion, substituted a segment...

Abstract Aim To analyze apolipoprotein gene polymorphisms in the Tunisian population and to check relation of these homocysteine, lipid levels coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods In healthy blood donors patients with CAD complicated by myocardial infarction (MI) four [APO (a) PNR, APO E, CI CII] were determined plasma total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), HDL-cholesterol (HLD-C) apolipoproteins (apo A-I, Apo B, E) measured. Results Analysis shows a relative genetic homogeneity...

Although much of Jordan is covered by desert, its north-western region forms part the Fertile Crescent that had given a rich past to Jordanians. This past, scarcely described historians, not yet clarified sufficient genetic data. Thus in this paper we aim determine differentiation Jordanian population and discuss origin.A total 150 unrelated healthy Jordanians were investigated for ten Alu insertion polymorphisms. Genetic relationships among populations estimated principal component (PC)...

Unusual combinations--unexpected sets, excess of lack--of antigenic determinants, or Gm allotypes, on the constant regions heavy chains human IgG1 and IgG3 immunoglobulins are accounted for in terms genetic events (exchanges, duplications deletions) involving DNA sequences, exons, coding three CH1-, CH2- CH3 domains gamma 1 3 chains. Equal unequal cross-overs at level introns without damage to CH exons postulated.
