This article studies a new class of monomial ideals associated with simple graph 𝐺, called generalized edge ideal, denoted by 𝐼 𝑔 (𝐺). Assuming that all the vertices 𝑥 have an exponent greater than 1 in (𝐺), we completely characterize 𝐺 for which (𝐺) is integrally closed, and show this equivalent to being normal i.e., integral powers are clased. We also give necessary sufficient condition when star-shaped graph. Finally, ideal complete closed.
