Physical conditions of seawater in coastal area can be studied by sampling at several locations. To perform spatial analysis, the data should interpolated to get values between sample points. Several approaches for interpolation may result different outcomes. The purpose this research is compare Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) and Kriging methods. Their parameters are using total suspended sediments Maros area, South Sulawesi. results show that more accurate obtained IDW method than method.

Abstract Indonesia released a new regional geoid model in 2020—the Indonesian Geoid 2020 (INAGEOID2020). It covers the region with spatial resolution of 0.01 × degree unit meters. The was generated through series data and computations. Three components gravity data, i.e., observed free-air anomaly, long-wave from global model, short-wave terrain were employed. computation performed using Remove-Compute-Restore technique Fast Fourier Transformation approach. output then fitted to at tide...

Abstract A devastating tsunami struck Palu Bay in the wake of 28 September 2018 M w = 7.5 earthquake (Sulawesi, Indonesia). With a predominantly strike‐slip mechanism, question remains whether this unexpected was generated by itself, or rather earthquake‐induced landslides. In study we examine potential co‐seismic deformation. To end, present novel geodetic data set Global Positioning System and multiple Synthetic Aperture Radar‐derived displacement fields to estimate 3D surface deformation...

Abstract Sustainable coastal management is playing an important role in resources conservation, particularly on small islands. Karimata archipelago has unique characteristics and great potential to be developed as a tourism object, one of which Island the largest island also reserve area. The concept ecotourism focuses ecology economic benefits, social life. Ecotourism aims build sustainable that provides economically viable benefits community. This study develop strategy based at Island....

Playing role as coastal shield with enormous economic value and ecological functions, mangrove forest management is always challenging to be studied. As either the largest archipelagic countryor habitat around globe, Indonesia needs a national baseline data its updating for management. Many stakeholders institutions, including Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), had conducted mapping updating. However, in order achieve one data, coordination synergy among institutions such as: Ministry of...

Abstract Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) has developed tide model using 128 gauges (TG) data in 2015. During the period of 2016-2020 BIG established new 31 TG and these stations have not yet been included into model, one them was Sebesi located Sunda Strait. The aim this research to validate latest by comparing Harmonic Constituents (HC) prediction. HC be compared were M2, S2, N2, K2, K1, O1, P1, Q1 from data. Each used generate predictions for August 10-20, 2020 with raw comparison results...

Abstract BIG has conducted gravity data by using several methods, namely terrestrial and airborne to produce high accuracy of the geoid. The survey was carried out grid method, does not have any guidance on size used interval size. We try divide into four different sizes grids, those are km, 10 15 20 km. The hot mud extrusion in Porong, Sidoarjo since May 29, 2006 has impacted many aspects including social, culture, economy and transportation. Several weeks later, a collaborative team was formed to investigate the factors controlling extrusions. One important aspect is concerning dimensions such as its perimeter, area, volume discharge. Bakosurtanal assigned carry out this task. Field surveys acquire heights were conducted twice within one month interval. Geographic Information System (GIS)...
