Microcystin-leucine arginine (MC-LR) is a carcinogenic toxin, produced by cyanobacteria. The release of this toxin into drinking water sources can threaten public health and environmental safety. Therefore, effective MC-LR removal from resources necessary. In the present study, hydrothermal method was used to synthesize novel ternary BiVO4/TiO2/NaY-Zeolite (B/T/N-Z) nanocomposite for degradation under visible light. FESEM, FTIR, XRD, DRS were performed characterizing structure. Also,...
Various factors influence the formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs) in drinking water. Therefore, it is crucial to study DBPs and identify associated influencing agents water distribution networks (WDNs) effectively prevent control health risks posed by DBPs. This research aimed examine THM concentrations WDNs Maragheh, Iran, focusing on seasonal variations. It also compared levels between new old assessed with exposure THMs through various routes. The mean Chloroform, BDCM, DBCM,...
Titania sol was modified with SiO2 and platinum ion to prepare TiO2/SiO2, Pt/TiO2 Pt-TiO2/SiO2 nano-photocatalysts. The samples were characterized by means of UV-visible Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) patterns, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) Transition (TEM) images, Energy Dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) techniques. prepared catalysts exhibited photocatalytic activity for degradation malachite oxalate green (MG) in water under...
The performance of TiO2/NaY-zeolite nanocomposite in photocatalytic degradation Microcystin-LR from aqueous solutions: Optimization by response surface methodology (RSM)
The aim of this study was to evaluate anti-hypoxia activity polyphenolic extracts Crataegus microphylla and pentaegyn on mice. Three experimental models hypoxia were considered, including asphyctic hypoxia, haemic circulatory hypoxia. Polyphenolic extract both plants exhibited significant anti-hypoxic prolonged animal survival time. Anti-hypoia C. found be superior that in Antihypoxic these may attributed their phenolic compounds.
The microcystin-LR (MC-LR) is a potentially dangerous toxin for animals and human health. So, MC-LR removal from the environment by use of photocatalysts recommended. Generally, traditional are dependent on UV light consume high energy also produce heat. with low-energy consumption, feasible, reliable properties that activate in visible very important. aim present study was synthesised bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) hydrothermal method. BiVO4 characteristics were determined field emission scanning...
Microcystin leucine-arginine (MC-LR), is a hepatotoxic agent produced by cyanobacteria, capable of posing serious threat to the human and ecological environment. In this study, bismuth vanadate (BiVO4)/NaY-Zeolite nanocomposite was intended for degradation MC-LR in aquatic solutions. The response surface methodology (RSM) used optimize operating variables affecting removal. results showed that maximum removal efficiency (RE) 96.26%, which achieved optimal conditions pH = 7, contact time 135...
Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate noise pollution levels (NPLs) in Isfahan, compare with guideline values and providing a zoning map. Materials Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional type. Totally, 19 stations were selected from most congested areas throughout the city. In determination these stations, Isfahan information maps city traffic (obtained transportation organization) used. Noise parameters L 10 , 50 90 95 99 equivalent sound level (L eq ), exposure level, pressure min...
Biofiltration of n-hexane as a representative hydrophobic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at presence and absence rhamnolipid biosurfactant was studied using multilayer biofilter packed with scoria, compost, poplar tree skin sugar beet pulp, for 131 days. The concentration measured by gas chromatograph coupled flame ionization detector (GC/FID). results showed that the mean removal efficiency (RE) two times higher than biosurfactant. According to results, can enhance biofiltration VOCs...
Asbestos is classified as a hazardous pollutants between the airborne particles that cause diseases such lung fibrosis (asbestosis). This protocol describes an integrated method for determination of asbestos fibres concentration and its temporal-spatial trends in air urban areas. To do this, 60 samples were gathered from various areas Yazd city with low, moderate high traffic. For analysis scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) utilized. The spatial temporal...
Background: Among the various adverse pollutants in water, coliform bacteria and arsenic are very important. Drinking of arsenic-contaminated water has become a serious threat to public health affected millions people across world. Objectives: The aim this study was investigate removal from drinking small communities with use conventional Slow Sand Filter (SSF) modified filter by slag (SMF) Zeolite (ZMF). Methods: In study, initial concentrations were 0.073, 0.11, 0.171, 0.21, 0.24, 0.33...
Hydrophobic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as n-hexane are not completely biodegradable by a single biofilter. So, in the present study, photoreactor system packed with scoria granules coated TiO2, pretreatment unit, was used for increasing removal efficiency of biofilter during an operation period 191 days. The inlet and outlet concentration analyzed gas chromatography coupled flame ionization detector (GC/FID). results indicated that input concentrations 0.18 – 1 g/m3 at empty bed...
The increase of textile factories, along with the continuous development industrialization has led to excessive discharge high toxicity wastewater a diverse range contaminants in wastewater. In this regard, reduce their operating costs and treatment time, work, two synthesized nanostructures, TiO2/Na-Y zeolite BiVO4/Na-Y was compared remove acid orange 10 (AO10) from aqueous solutions. obtained optimum conditions including initial dye concentration, pH, contact catalyst dosage AO10 removal...
