In underwater imaging we observe objects in the water through a flat glass interface which defines two-layer refractive geometry. Using structured light for 3D requires that both camera and projector are calibrated, is difficult task. this paper discuss how to calibrate under We propose model as an inverse enables use of known procedures calibration efficiently collect data using only planar board uncalibrated camera. Performed experiments show results comparable making it highly applicable practice.

Many different optical setups and patterns are proposed for structured light 3D surface scanning. It is difficult time consuming to experimentally assess all imaging options select the best one a particular application. An efficient way of assessing simulation scanning on computer. We describe an low cost approach simulating using Blender. Blender open source computer graphics program primarily intended drawing animation also supporting Phyton scripting extend its capabilities. how simulate...

The development of a robust 3D imaging system for underwater applications is crucial process in where the physical properties environment make implementation such systems challenging. Calibration an essential step application and performed to acquire parameters image formation model enable reconstruction. We present novel calibration method comprising pair cameras, projector, single glass interface that shared between cameras projector(s). based on axial camera model. proposed uses numerical...

The selection of frequencies (or wavelengths) which are optimal in some sense is still an open research problem phase shifting profilometry. We propose a novel method for selecting multiple profilometry provide the best possible resistance to unwrapping errors when temporal used. proposed frequency based on maximization minimal distance between fixed straight lines wrapped space. It realized as exhaustive search over fringe counts, more efficient than searching or wavelengths. demonstrate...
