A two-stage blind adaptive anti-jamming algorithm for global positioning systems (GPS) is proposed in this study. The new cancels interferences by projecting the array received signals on orthogonal complement space of interferences. Then utilises CLEAN method to estimate direction arrivals GPS according period repetitive feature coarse/acquisition (C/A) code and form multi-beam, where each beam can point one signal. Test data simulation results show effectiveness algorithm.

It is well known that some global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals operate on the aeronautical radionavigation services (ARNS) frequency band, which also utilized by other service signals, such as pulsed from distance-measuring equipment (DME) system. Thus, high-power DME signal, interference, will significantly degrade performance of GNSS. Some algorithms, including time blanking, notch filtering, and hybrid have been proposed to suppress interference. However, when density pulse...

As a part of modernization GPS, L5 signal is set up for civil aviation exclusively, and takes exclusive frequency band. However, the DME (Distance Measurement Equipment) already working at same band, makes pulse interference on with high power, which will cause degradation SINR (Signal to Interference Noise Ratio) failure in tracking acquisition signal. On suppression, traditional methods bring loss useful satellite data. Thus performance GPS receiver suffer from serious degradation. In this...
