In this article, results and indicators of the operation evolution solar-wind hybrid microgrid installed on island Lençóis, Maranhão, Brazil, after ten years are reported. This is considered a national reference project due to longevity robustness in serving marine islands. analysis evaluates aspects such as load evolution, challenges identified overcome, experience with storage system, improvements introduced. Indicators efficiency socio-economic impacts also presented discussed.

In this article, the Boqueirão Channel located in São Marcos Bay, Brazil, is characterized terms of tidal stream energy. From local measurements both, bathymetry and currents, estuary modeled using Delft3D platform. The results show that area has significant potential for streams provides good technical-economic viability due to its proximity coast a large consumption center.
