In YBCO coils, the increased transport current density and magnetic field will induce larger electromagnetic force, coated conductors (CCs) may suffer interlayer delamination by shear forces, which give rise to performance degradation of conductor. The characteristics CCs under stress should be well understood for better application tapes high-temperature superconducting equipment. This paper describes experimental results different strength critical I <sub...

Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) plantations transition from seedling to multi-generation coppice systems, leading declines in productivity and biodiversity. However, the structural functional reorganization of soil fungal communities during this remains poorly understood. This study aimed characterize community dynamics across successional stages black stands assess their implications for health ecosystem resilience. Soil three (first-generation forest, first- second-generation...

REBCO coated conductors have a multi-layer structure, and the outer encapsulation layer is generally made of non-magnetic copper material. This paper proposes new structure tape, which replaces with magnetic material to explore its transport loss magnetization loss. The results indicate that copper-encapsulated tapes lower losses at low currents, while encapsulated strong nickel alloy materials highest losses. At high different are almost equal. fields, tape lower, highest, due shielding...

Abstract High temperature superconducting (HTS) conductors have become important candidates to be used in large-scale high-field magnets, owing its high critical current density as well good mechanical properties. At present, there are various forms of HTS proposed. In this work, we reported the fabrication REBCO coil using in-situ winding technology. The six-layer with a diameter 410 mm achieved total 2562 A, and generated central magnetic field 7.8 mT at 77 K. stress, deformation, defect...

ABSTRACT This study reports the improvement in electrical and thermomechanical properties of pristine poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) by incorporation graphene (GN) resulting GN/PVC composites 137 mechanical activation (MA) using dioctyl phthalate (DOP) as dispersant. Microstructure, electrical, were systematically investigated. Scanning electron microscopy, mercury intrusion porosimetry, particle size distribution analysis revealed that high‐energy ball milling destroyed structure PVC GN,...

A Hall sensor system was used to measure the local critical current of YBCO tape with high spatial resolution under in-situ tensile stress. The hot spot generation and minimum quench energy tape, which depended on current, calculated through thermoelectric coupling model. With increase in stress, cracks have different dimensions degradation arose more frequently lowered thermal stability tape.

A novel method of characterizing moisture effect on mechanical performance epoxy resin is presented in this paper. 50-µm-thick layer cured was fabricated and cut into strips 4 mm wide 30 long as specimens to be tested a dynamic analyzer equipped with thin-film tension clamp. Static force-controlled tension–tension fatigue tests were first carried out using made from Momentive 135/137 BASF 5400/5440 systems without applying moisture, results compared those obtained conventional dog-bone...
