Microlicia woodii is described as a new species from the Meseta de Motacú, Santiago Chiquitos, eastern Bolivia, region rich in endemic plants. Microlicia is a Neotropical genus with about 245 species centered in central-eastern Brazil, areas of campo rupestre and Cerrado. The majority occur the states Minas Gerais, Bahia, Goiás. Two species of the Neotropical genus Microlicia are here proposed as new (Microlicia bicolor and M. pataroi). Both restricted to Beco do Guiné trail Vale Pati in municipality Mucugê, state Bahia, Brazil. During recent field expeditions to the Chapada Diamantina (Bahia, Brazil), two species of neotropical genus Microlicia were collected that could not be placed in any previously described taxa genus. These are here proposed as new: angelana and M. debilis . Both apparently endemic Serra do Porco Gordo Arapiranga District, Rio de Contas. Diagnoses, line drawings, distribution maps, notes on diagnostic characters conservation assessments provided. Information habitat phenology is also included.
