Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is a promising two-dimensional material for optoelectronic applications owing to its strong light–matter interactions, high carrier mobility, and ability combine with other materials. However, the intrinsic bandgap (1.3–1.8 eV) of MoS2 limits in near-infrared (NIR) region. Herein, heterojunction NIR photodetector based on Er-doped film developed. The presents self-powered response fast rise/fall time ∼9.2 μs/∼168 μs detectivity ∼3.25 × 1010 Jones at 980 nm....
