Alumina-forming austenitic steels (AFA steels) exhibit excellent creep resistance and oxidation capabilities, making them a strong candidate for cladding materials in lead-cooled fast reactors. This study investigates the corrosion of Mn-containing AFA lead–bismuth eutectic (LBE) at 550 °C with controlled oxygen concentration 10⁻⁶ wt.%. The results demonstrate that under these experimental conditions, addition Al enhances material’s to corrosion. Moreover, Mn incorporation significantly...

Abstract To evaluate the condition of 2.25Cr-1Mo heat transfer tubes in steam generator sodium-cooled fast reactor after long-term service, staged stress aging tests were conducted at 620°C a high-temperature sodium environment. The results indicate that 132.1h time sodium, undergoes slight dissolution alloying elements. Additionally, quantity carbides increases, precipitating and aggregating along grain boundaries, with M23C6 coarsening into elongated shapes. Despite these changes, steel...

Abstract 2D‐layered materials are recognized as up‐and‐coming candidates to overcome the intrinsic physical limitation of silicon‐based devices. Herein, coexistence positive persistent photoconductivity (PPPC) and negative (NPPC) in SnSe thin films prepared by pulsed laser deposition provides an excellent avenue for engineering novel It is determined that surface oxygen co‐regulated physisorption chemisorption, NPPC attributed photo‐controllable desorption behavior. The dominant behavior...
