The calanoid copepods of the family Arietellidae were studied from International Indian Ocean Expedition collections. is represented by three genera and members usually inhabit deeper layers ocean. In five species Arietellus encountered, mostly southern latitudes. Paraugaptilus reported for first time Ocean. Three Phyllopus encountered in IIOE genus concentrated equatorial belt.
