Stroke remains a major health concern globally, with oral anticoagulants widely prescribed for stroke prevention. The efficacy and safety of mechanical thrombectomy (MT) in anticoagulated patients distal medium vessel occlusions (DMVO) are not well understood.

Current therapeutic approaches to treat metastatic breast cancer, although effective, have shown many inadvertent side effects such as genotoxicity due a lack of selectivity. Thus, these treatment plans are not suitable for long-term usage. Natural health product extracts safe consumption and some be medicinally active containing multiple bioactive compounds able target vulnerabilities in cancer. One which, Hibiscus rosa-sinesis (hibiscus) extract, has been reported medicinal anticancer...

Many conventional chemotherapies have indicated side effects due to a lack of treatment specificity and are thus not suitable for long-term usage. Natural health products well-tolerated safe consumption, some pharmaceutical uses particularly their anticancer effects. We previously reported the efficacy dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) root lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) extracts. However, on prostate cancer interactions with standard chemotherapeutics been studied determine if they will be...

Also, bilateral vertebral arteries were absent, type I persistent proatlantal intersegmental side. The was treated endovascular intervention Tubridge flow diverter and noted to be completely cured on 6-month follow-up. discuss many considerations this patient including developmental modern-era treatment.

Endovascular therapy (EVT) has been used as a standard treatment method for patients with large vessel ischemic stroke within 24 h of the onset. The extent recanalization after EVT can be assessed using modified thrombolysis in cerebral infarction (mTICI) scale an accepted angiographic grading system. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether mTICI grade 2b achieve similar outcomes compared those complete (mTICI 3) following acute stroke.

Melanoma is an aggressive malignancy that arises from melanocytes in the deeper skin layers. It responsible for majority of cancer deaths globally. Current treatment options include surgical excision, chemotherapies including cisplatin and taxol, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy. Despite these treatments, survival rate malignant melanoma remains relatively low. Curcumin naturally available as Curcuma longa (turmeric) has thus far shown to have pharmacologic activity against...

Current conventional approaches to cancer treatment have proven effective in treating many patients but been shown inadvertently cause severe side effects including organ damage and toxicity. Natural health products (NHPs) are generally plant-based that some form of medicinal properties. Many chemotherapeutic compounds, such as taxol (from paclitaxel) derived from NHPs. NHPs a potential be an alternative drugs. Indeed, high anti-cancer efficacy, with minimal effects. In addition, because...
