Abstract Arylamines are essential building blocks that found in biologically important substances, agrochemicals, and natural products. One of the C–N bond formation methods is conveniently step- atom-economical C–H activated amination process. We divulge an operationally simple general method using 3-amino-1-methyl-1H-pyridin-2-one (AMP) as inbuilt directing group (DG) for additive-free, copper(II)-catalyzed ortho β-C(sp2)–H bonds arenes heteroarenes. Notably, this cross dehydrogenative...
Electron-rich arenes and heteroarenes react with aldehydes in the presence of a dual catalytic system [Ir(cod)Cl]2/SnCl4 affording triarylmethanes good yields. This is simple method for synthesis various triarylmethanes, including heterocyclic compounds. Besides, this work contributes to an extremely promising approach catalysis by bimetallic species participation transition metal. The process can be used, instance, modular bioactive triarylmethane derivatives.
