Far-infrared (FIR) reflection measurements have been employed to study the long-wavelength optical phonon properties in cubic MgZnO thin films grown by reactive electron beam evaporation on sapphire substrates. The frequencies of phonons with T2 symmetry are obtained calculating FIR spectra using a multioscillator model and Kramers–Kronig dispersion analysis. modified random-element-isodisplacement has used analyze mode behavior both hexagonal alloys. It is found that exhibits two-mode...

Abstract Current‐induced magnetization switching via spin‐orbit torque (SOT) holds great potential for applications in high‐speed and energy‐efficient magnetic memory logic devices. In the extensively studied heavy metal/ferromagnet (HM/FM) SOT heterostructures, thickness of FM layer is typically restricted to a few nanometers or less due rapid spin dephasing, making it challenging implement thermally stable cells with high density. this study, demonstrated that constraint can be...

Weyl ferromagnets, with large anomalous Hall (and Nernst) effects, are an ideal playground to study unconventional transport phenomena. Here, we report a sizable unidirectional magnetoresistance ratio of up 7.73 × 10−5 per current density 1 MA cm−2 in single-layer epitaxial Co2MnGa films. Surprisingly, the nonlinear signal has isotropic crystallographic axis dependence and scales almost linearly film thickness. Both features cannot be explained by spin from intrinsic band structure, but...

Far-infrared (FIR) reflection measurements have been employed to study the long-wavelength optical phonons and their mode behavior in PbSrSe thin films grown by molecular beam epitaxy on BaF2 substrates with different Sr concentrations. The phonon frequencies are obtained calculating FIR spectra using a multioscillator model Kramers–Kronig dispersion analysis. Both PbSe-like SrSe-like bands identified ternary films. modified random-element-isodisplacement has used analyze of alloy. A mixed...
