The association between nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and asthma has been investigated. However, conventional NO2 assays measure nitrous acid (HONO) as NO2. In this pilot epidemiological observational study, we assessed exposure to indoor HONO some air pollutants in pediatric patients examined possible symptoms. Indoor nitric oxide (NO), which are primarily generated by the combustion of certain substances, were significantly associated with attacks 2010. 2010, was closely correlated NO than...

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is an air pollutant discharged from combustion of human activities. Nitrous acid (HONO), measured as NO2, thought to impact respiratory function more than NO2. HONO and NO2 have equilibrium relationship, their reaction affected by climate conditions. This study was conducted discuss the extent contained in depending on level urbanization. Whether conditions that promote production enhanced investigated using time series analysis. Climate outdoor pollution data April...

Investigations of air pollutants were conducted aboard a research vessel anchoring for several hours at sites while cruising over Osaka Bay and the surrounding sea area in Japan. The concentrations nitrogen oxides (NOx) within sometimes exceeded 60 ppb (parts per billion by volume) showed clear diurnal variation pattern with broad peak daytime. A similarity was observed between patterns NOx concentration traffic on bay. Outside bay, constant about 13 ppb. Atmospheric monitoring from rooftop...

We developed an analytical method for the detection of nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxides (NO2) and ozone (O3) simultaneously with high time resolution (1 s). The fast was applied observation at Fuji mountain roadside altitude 2300 m. successfully observed concentrations NO NO2 in emissions from each vehicle a roadside, O3 concentration decreased due to reaction NO. Relative amounts NOx primary emission ratios driven on road were estimated by resolution.

Abstract In Japan, the achievement rate of environmental standards for air pollution has been improving in recent years, but photochemical oxidants, including ozone, improvement are required. this study, we investigated trends ozone counter-measures United States and Europe from State Implementation Plan (SIP) National Air Pollution Control Program (NAPCP) examined whether there any points recommended Japan. The have different policies on control. States, states that do not meet...

Background: The relationship between NO 2 and asthma has been investigated; however, the WHO (2005) reported that it is unclear to what extent health effects observed in epidemiological studies are attributable itself or other primary secondary combustion-related products with which typically correlated. Objectives: To obtain a reasonable hypothesis for contradictions concerning relationships symptoms by this descriptive study. Methods: We examined indoor monitoring station , HONO (primary...
