Virtual reality (VR) based surgical simulation provides the best possible scenario and repeatable training for a surgeon. In this paper, virtual system dynamic needle insertion is presented. First, piece-wise nonlinear mass-spring model was used to simulate soft tissue material properties. Then novel force algorithm proposed by considering effects of velocity diameter haptic simulation.
