We aimed to analyze the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on interrelationship between human capital and agricultural development in West African Economic Monetary Union (WAEMU) zone. The econometric model was estimated using Pooled Mean Group method. estimates reveal an interrelation capacities WAEMU countries. Furthermore, it is certain that presence investments zone has created activities, which remain insufficient relation potential These inadequacies are explained by absence...
The main objective of this research was to analyze the effects official development assistance (ODA) on economic growth and agricultural in WAEMU countries, with exception Guinea-Bissau. study focused a twenty-year period from 2000 2020. To achieve objective, we use very recent econometric methods, including panel data cointegration. We estimated our model using Pooled Mean Group (PMG) method. results estimations show that ODA negatively influences while its impact is positive countries long...
In this paper, we introduce a class of semi-parametric estimators the distortion risk premiums for dependent insurance losses with heavy-tailed marginals. Our approach is based on kernel estimation tail index and extreme quantiles under first second orders regularly varying assumptions stationary insured risks distribution dependence serials. Moreover, illustrate behaviour our proposed estimator give comparison between classical one in terms absolute bias root median squared error.
Let X 1 , 2 ,. . .be a sequence of independent copies (s.i.c) real random variable (r.v.) 1, with distribution function df F(x) = P(X x) and let 1,n 2,n • n,n be the order statistics based on n first these observations. The following continuous generalized Hill processτ > 0, k n, has been introduced as family estimators extreme value index, largely studied for statistical purposes asymptotic normality results restricted to τ 1/2.We extend those 0 < 1/2 show that is still valid 1/2.For 1/2, we...
In Senegal, onions (Allium cepa L.) are an important and widely consumed crop. Several varieties speculations cultivated, with yields bulbs qualities depending on technical itineraries cultivation areas. The aim of this study is to evaluate the quality onion produced at Kalassane Nguéthioro sites, using morphological physicochemical parameters. To end, optimized treatment based “Société Nationale d’Aménagement et d’Exploitation des terres du Delta” (SAED) data sheet, requiring water...
nge studies require comprehensive databases to analyze the climate signal, monitor its evolution, and predict more accurately future changes. Since complete observations of any continuous process is almost impossible, it then inevitable encounter missing information in meteorological databases. The aim this work evaluate performance five ($5$) imputation methods: missForest, $k$-nn, ppca, mice imputeTS. results show that missForest best performing method handle temperature data. In case...
Overlapping coefficient is a direct measure of similarity between two distributions which recently becoming very useful. This paper investigates estimation for some well-known measures overlap, namely Matusita's , Weitzman's ∆ and Λ based on Kullback-Leibler.Two methods considered in this study are point Bayesian approach. Two inverse Lomax populations with different shape parameters considered. The bias mean square error properties the estimators studied through simulation real data example.
Nonparametric density estimation, based on kernel-type estimators, is a very popular method in statistical research, especially when we want to model the probabilistic or stochastic structure of data set. In this paper, investigate asymptotic confidence bands for distribution with kernel-estimators some types divergence measures (Rényi-α and Tsallis-α divergence). Our aim use empirical process techniques, order derive results. Under different assumptions, establish variety fundamental...
We are concerned in this paper with the functional asymptotic behaviour of sequence stochastic processes T_{n}(f)=\sum_{j=1}^{j=k}f(j)(\log X_{n-j+1,n}-\log X_{n-j,n}), indexed by some classes $\mathcal{F}$ functions $f:\mathbb{N} \backslash {0} \longmapsto \mathbb{R}_{+}$ and where $k=k(n)$ satisfies 1\leq k\leq n,k/n\rightarrow 0\text{as}n\rightarrow \infty. This is a generalized Hill process including as many new estimators extremal index when $F$ domain. focus on its uniform law setting...
The situation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) raises many questions due to a lack information on the part government. actors in field do not always agree certain points, especially with regard living conditions IDPs and even working humanitarian organizations that provide them assistance. aim this research was know if actions socio-economic care outskirts Ouagadougou are effective. We used non-probability sampling method. observation units were selected according their availability...
This study aims to assess the economic impact of research and extension as for improved sesame varieties in Burkina Faso. Indeed, effectiveness use financial resources allocated is a concern donors governments different countries. The surplus model was used an analytical tool this study. Thus, data were collected from research, statistical production structures. method evaluates impacts terms shift supply curves. results show that it benefitting invest cowpea research. In fact, study,...
Since the end of 1980s, most developing countries, particularly those in WAEMU, have resorted to foreign capital, notably Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) as a new source financing. The general observation is that WAEMU countries difficulty mobilizing and taking advantage opportunities offered by capital initiate their development. aim this research show contribution FDI human accumulation countries. So, effects direct investment public education spending on are analyses. data used cover...
