A thorough polyphasic taxonomic study, integrating genome-based approaches, was carried out to characterize the RB5 T strain isolated from root nodules of Retama monosperma growing on coastal dunes Bousfer Beach (Oran, Algeria). The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis revealed that had highest similarity Pseudomonas granadensis LMG27940 (98.94%) and gozinkensis IzPS32d (98.73%). Phylogenetic studies, including both multilocus using , gyrB rpoD housekeeping genes, positioned in a distinct branch...
Abstract This study investigated the potential of spent coffee grounds (SCG) as a sustainable feedstock for bioethanol production. Using simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF), effects different SCG pretreatments on ethanol yield, reducing sugars consumption, yeast growth were compared. Surprisingly, untreated outperformed pretreated in all these aspects. Untreated achieved an yield 4.91 g L –1 , efficiency 81.11%, 1.86 × 10 7 cells/mL. These values significantly higher than by...
Endophytic bacteria are found inside host plants without causing disease symptoms, and form a range of di erent bene cial rela onships. In this study, four bacterial strains were isolated from roots, cladodes non gus- tatory fruits Opun cus-indicaL. collected the Algerian semi-arid region. The able to grow at temperatures as 45 °C. 16SrRNA sequencing revealed iden ty isolates Pseudomonas pu da(E1)with 98% similarity,P. brassicacearum(E2) Klebsiella pneumonia (E3,E4)with 99% similarity....
