Background: Non-obstructive dysphagia is a commonly encountered clinical problem. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed single tertiary hospital system electronic database from January 2021 to October for patients undergoing EGD with dilation using ICD-10 codes 43248 and 42450. Results: Of the 411 meeting inclusion criteria, 75% of these had improvement empiric dilation. The presence superficial mucosal tear post was statistically significant.
