This paper evaluates the unintended mitigation effect of air pollutant regulation on aquatic cadmium (Cd) emissions in China's Eleventh Five-Year Plan for Environmental Protection (11-FYPEP), by employing a continuous Difference-in-Difference-in-Difference (DDD) estimator. We find that: (1) Although 11-FYPEP did not target to reduce Cd emission, implementation reduced 2.8%. (2) The emission is closely related industrial level, because reduction 6.1% higher areas with lower output, and...

In August 2015, the State Council of People’s Republic China listed China’s capital market for property-rights exchange as along with Chinese stock market. Consequently, is an integral part country’s multilayered The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant effects on markets. Since mainly serves nonlisted companies, it complicated to obtain its data perform COVID-19’s effect analysis. This study investigates exchange. this paper, we collected online property rights-exchange from 2017 2020...

Heavy metals (HMs) pose significant risks to human health and the environment. Identifying sectors that play a role in transmission of associated with HMs, which is rarely considered, an efficient way control manage HMs related risks. By combining bottom-up emission inventories atmospheric multi-provincial input-output tables, betweenness-based method, this paper reveals HMs-related (evaluated by pollution risk load, PRL) 2017, provides basis reconsider from neglected perspective. The...

Heavy metals (HMs) are of great toxicity and may cause a series health problems. Some HMs have similar emission sources, it is important to investigate the nexus among various achieve collaborative reductions. Considering effectiveness feasibility industrial modification environmental pressures, this paper proposes novel nexus-based optimization approach reduce risks associated with atmospheric HMs, which combines analysis, multi-region input-output (MRIO) table, multi-objective...
