Reaction of a series 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis-hydrazones with copper(II) chloride and bromide yielded pentacoordinated complexes exhibiting high cytotoxic activity.
A new bis-benzoxazolylhydrazone of 2,6-diacetylpyridine and mononuclear Cu( ii ) complexes based on it have been synthesized. An in vitro study showed that all exhibit high cytotoxic activity against the HepG2 cancer cell line.
In order to study the effect of dimethylpyrimine fragment nature on structure and magnetic properties coordination compounds, new binuclear Cu(II) metallochelates were synthesized. The compounds are [Cu2(HL)2(CH3OH)2](ClO4)2 (1) [Cu2(HL)2(NO3)2] (2), where HL – monodeprotonated form 2-hydrazino-4,6-dimethylpyrimidine diacetylmonoxime condensation product. complexes established using elemental analysis, 1H NMR, IR-spectroscopy, magnetochemistry. It was shown that diamagnetic at room...
Bis-hetarylhydrazone H2L (1), a product of the condensation 2,6-diacetylpyridine with 2-hydrazinoquinoline, has been synthesized. On its basis mixed valence Cu(II)/Cu(I) binuclear complexes [Cu2(H2L)2](NO3)3⋅2H2O (2), [Cu2(H2L)2](ClO4)3 (3) were synthesized in which Cu(II) ion is distorted octahedral and Cu(I) tetrahedral coordination environment, along asymmetrical mononuclear [Cu(H2L)Cl]Cl (4), [Cu(H2L)Br]Br (5) tetragonal pyramidal structure unit. The structures compounds studied by means...
