We have investigated the thermal conductivity and vibration properties of TiS3 nanoribbon via micro-Raman spectroscopy. Based on Raman spectra, calculated temperature coefficients four Ag1 modes sample are −0.0140, −0.0136, −0.0179, −0.0172 cm−1 K−1, respectively, which higher than that traditional nanomaterials graphene MoS2. The frequency shift provides a powerful non-contact method to determine its local rise, is caused by anharmonic coupling phonons. From coefficient power values,...

The performance of a terahertz (THz) Brewster polarizing beam splitter on polymer substrate is studied theoretically and experimentally.Simulations by using finite-element method demonstrate that both transmittance/reflectance their extinction ratios are better than its 45 • counterpart in broad frequency range.Especially, the reflection ratio improves significantly. The results also verified experimentally with THz time domain spectroscopy (TDS) backward wave oscillator (BWO) measurement system.

A terahertz polarizing beam splitter, based on a copper grating polyimide (PI) substrate, was fabricated by the way of laser induced and non-electrolytic plating. The good polarization characteristics splitter in range 0°-180°polarization are verified experimentally using backward wave oscillator at fixed frequency 300GHz, insertion losses 0.13dB 0.32dB measured for transmitted reflected beams, respectively. broadband transmission TM also time-domain spectroscopy, extinction ratio larger...

The precision of the conventional terahertz transmission measurement system with a parallel-plate sample will be reduced due to interference effect, when frequency THz source drifts. In order solve such problem, frequency-drift insensitive composed double-path is proposed in this paper, and an F-P model built. parameters are optimized, effects source's drift on both single- double- path analyzed compared. results demonstrated that kind could avoid influence source, thus enhance accuracy.
