Abstract Objectives: To retrospectively assess the suitability of pulmonary artery banding as a treatment strategy for dilated cardiomyopathy and left ventricular non-compaction with depressed ejection fraction. Methods: The study was retrospective included consecutive patients who met inclusion criteria: diagnosed or fraction less than 35%. Cardiac indices were documented, clinical outcomes followed 5 years. Results: This 21 due to (n = 11) 10), treated either anti-congestion medication...
Objectives: The aortic valve annulus in the normal heart does not show a perfect circumference. Congenitally abnormal valves addition wide range of variations measurement annulus, cusps, number and distribution commissures relation with ventricular septum. We introduced simple geometrical parameter, which enables us to repair congenital stenosis excellent midterm follow up results.
Background: We retrospectively assessed if PAB is an equally suitable treatment strategy for dilated cardiomyopathy with depressed LVEF in two subgroups of children distinct etiologies NCCM and DCM.
