We have measured transverse momentum distributions of charged hadrons produced in d+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV. The spectra were obtained for momenta 0.25<p(T)<6.0 GeV/c, a pseudorapidity range 0.2<eta<1.4 the deuteron direction. evolution with collision centrality is presented comparison to p+pmacr; same energy. With increasing centrality, yield high increases more rapidly than overall particle density, leading strong modification spectral shape. This change shape qualitatively...

Abstract Spintronic computing promises superior energy efficiency and nonvolatility compared to conventional field-effect transistor logic. But, it has proven difficult realize spintronic circuits with a versatile, scalable device design that is adaptable emerging material physics. Here we present prototypes of logic encode information in the position magnetic domain wall ferromagnetic wire. We show single three-terminal can perform inverter buffer operations. demonstrate one drive two...

The measured pseudorapidity distribution of primary charged particles in minimum-bias d+Au collisions at sqrt[s(NN)]=200 GeV is presented for the first time. This falls off less rapidly gold direction as compared to deuteron direction. average value particle density midrapidity <dN(ch)/d eta>|eta|< or =0.6)=9.4+/-0.7(syst) and integrated multiplicity region 82+/-6(syst). Estimates total production, based on extrapolations outside region, are also presented. distribution, normalized number...

The measured pseudorapidity distributions of primary charged particles over a wide range $|\ensuremath{\eta}|\ensuremath{\le}5.4$ and integrated particle multiplicities in $d+\mathrm{Au}$ collisions at $\sqrt{{s}_{\mathit{NN}}}=200\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GeV}$ are presented as function collision centrality. longitudinal features found to be very similar those seen $p+A$ lower energies. total multiplicity is scale with the number participants according...

Aggregation of the tau protein into cross-β amyloid fibrils is a hallmark Alzheimer's disease (AD) and many other neurodegenerative disorders. Developing small molecules that bind these important for diagnosis treatment tauopathies. Here, we report binding sites positron emission tomography (PET) ligand, PI-2620, to recombinant construct adopts C-shaped AD fold. Using solid-state NMR 13C–19F rotational-echo double-resonance (REDOR) experiments, measured proximity residues fluorine atom...

We have measured the transverse momentum distributions of charged hadrons in d+Au collisions at sqrt sNN = 200 GeV range 0.5 < p_T 4.0 GeV/c. The total pseudorapidity, eta, is 0.2 eta 1.4, where positive deuteron direction. data has been divided into three regions covering 0.6, 0.6 \eta 1.0, and 1.0 1.4 compared to hadron spectra from p+pbar same energy. There a significant change spectral shape as function pseudorapidity. As increases we see decrease nuclear modification factor RdAu.

The ratios of the yields primary charged antiparticles to particles have been obtained for pions, kaons, and protons near midrapidity p+p collisions at √sNN=200GeV. Ratios ⟨π−/π+⟩=1.000±0.012 (stat.) ±0.019 (syst.), ⟨K−/K+⟩=0.93±0.05 ±0.03 ⟨¯p/p⟩=0.85±0.04 (syst.) measured. reported values represent ratio averaged over rapidity range 0.1<yπ<1.3 0<yK,p<0.8, transverse momenta 0.1<pπ,KT<1.0GeV/c 0.3<ppT<1.0GeV/c. Within uncertainties, all three are consistent with measured in d+Au same energy....
