BackgroundFew data are available on allograft survival at 15 years, the impact and predictors of recurrence original disease in renal transplanted patients with IgA nephropathy (IgAN).
Patients with severe coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) may require the use of invasive mechanical ventilation (MV) for prolonged periods. Aggressive MV parameters have been associated changes in intracranial pressure (ICP) patients acute disorders. Significant ICP elevation could compromise compliance (ICC) and cerebrovascular hemodynamics (CVH). However, effects these individuals without neurological disorders not yet evaluated.
Several studies attempt to identify predictors for weaning and extubation from mechanical ventilation (MV) none have been shown be particularly accurate. Therefore, the objective of study was evaluate whether markers renal function may associated with failure. This retrospective collected data through electronic medical records 2 consecutive years. The inclusion criteria were: ≥18 years old requiring invasive MV a period ≥48 hours. Extubation failure determined when subjects needed return...
III Einstein International Symposium on Intensive Care and the XXX Mechanical Ventilation. Aug 16-18, 2023. Category: Pneumology Introduction: The ICU Mobility Scale (IMS) was developed to provide a structured method collect mobility data, assist physical therapists monitoring recovery, help researchers objectively quantify milestones, compare levels of achieved in different studies. However, so far, there are no data that assessed by this scale is capable predicting mortality [...]
