We summarise the properties and nature of a peculiar group B-type stars called FS CMa stars. These show B[e] phenomenon, i.e., their spectra exhibit both forbidden emission lines infrared excess. Such point to an extended circumstellar gas dust component. Although phenomenon has been explained in most stars, origin is disputed. Here, we focus on merger hypothesis, for which evidence recently discovered.
