Functionalized UiO-66 metal-organic frameworks (MOF) particles were covalently grafted with hydride-terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) via postsynthetic modification. These PDMS-coated MOF (termed here "corona-MOF") used in the preparation of mixed-matrix membranes (MMMs). Defect-free MMMs weight loadings 50% achieved corona-MOF particles, attributed to improved dispersibility and covalent linkages between polymer matrix. The PDMS showed distinct separation features single gas...
We report the first self-assembled porous monolayer and free-standing multilayer films composed of metal–organic framework (MOF) nanoparticles. Self-assembled MOF monolayers (SAMMs) were assembled at a liquid–air interface to produce that are 87 wt % (89 vol %) MOF. Monolayer self-assembly was aided by growing layer poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) on particle surface using histamine anchor. SAMMs could be stacked obtain multilayers, including alternating MOF/polymer heterostructures. coated...
Experimental results for the facilitated transport of ethylene through supported liquid membranes containing silver nitrate as a carrier are presented. The selectivity factor in separation and ethane increases with increasing concentration, reaching about 1000 when concentration is 4mol/dm3. An approximation method calculating rate accompanied by an instantaneous reversible reaction proposed. This applicable even to case where diffusivities complex differ from each other. It found that...
The picolinoxy group was found to be an extremely powerful leaving for allylic substitution with aryl nucleophiles derived from ArMgBr and CuBr•Me2S. proceeds anti SN2′ pathway high chirality transfer. electron-withdrawing effect of the pyridyl chelation MgBr2 are likely origin success. Results suggesting these effects were obtained.
Allylic substitution with sp2-carbon reagents (aryl and alkenyl anions) was realized by using allylic picolinates copper derived from RMgBr CuBr·Me2S to afford anti SN2′ products regio- stereoselectively. Steric electronic factors in the size of methylene substituents around moiety marginally affected selectivity. The reaction system compatible alkyl as well. Furthermore, applied construction a quaternary center synthesis (−)-sesquichamaenol. Electron-withdrawing nature pyridyl group...

The transport of cobalt and nickel from nitrate solutions through supported liquid membranes (SLM) containing 2-ethylhexylphosphonic acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester dissolved in n-dodecanc as a carrier was studied. High selectivity the separation obtained when diffusional resistance membrane dominant. Experiments on extraction and/or were also carried out over wide range metal loading ratio, empirical correlations representing concentrations aggregated species organic phase presented. Using...
Abstract Aliphatic olefins were directly converted into α-hydroxy ketones with acidic aqueous hydrogen peroxide in the presence of catalytic amount peroxotungstophosphate (PCWP) under biphasic system using chloroform as a solvent. The medium was necessary to open resulting epoxide vic-diol which subsequently oxidized ketones.
The excellent long-term patency of no-touch (NT) saphenous vein grafts (SVGs) makes the very attractive for coronary artery bypass grafting; however, NT-SVG harvesting has a greater incidence wound complications than conventional methods. Since 2009, we have performed endoscopic (EVH) in our department with few major complications. Because is expected to provide patency, if EVH, will be reduced. Thus, began performing pedicle SVG (Pedicle-EVH) March 2019. Herein, report early results...
Measuring the ocular blood flow in neonates may clarify relationships between eye diseases and circulation abnormalities. However, no method for noninvasively measuring is established. We used laser speckle flowgraphy (LSFG) modified to measure their investigated whether this reproducible. During normal sleep, we studied 16 subjects (adjusted age of 34–48 weeks) whose could be measured three consecutive times. While slept supine position, mean blur rate (MBR) values optic nerve head (ONH)...
The solvent extraction of copper by use the homologous series o-hydroxyoxime with different alkyl chains was studied to elucidate mechanism. physicochemical properties hydroxyoxime required evaluate rate, such as distribution constant, interfacial properties, pKa and were measured. forward stripping rates measured a Lewis-type transfer cell. rate water-soluble, surface-inactive agent can be reasonably interpreted considering diffusion process complex formation in aqueous stagnant layer....
Primary myxofibrosarcoma of the heart is quite rare. We herein present case a 56-year-old man who presented with large obstructive right ventricle (RV), as assessed on multi-diagnostic imaging techniques (multidetector row computed tomography, magnetic resonance and positron emission tomography). Most previous cases cardiac have been reported in left atrium ventricle. In this report, we describe very rare RV.
