放射性セシウムを汚染下水汚泥から溶脱,フェロシアン化物錯塩として共沈分離する技術において,過剰のシュウ酸濃度の低下法として,オゾン/過酸化水素促進酸化法の効果を実験的に検討した.放射性セシウムの溶脱条件であるpH3において,シュウ酸は効果的に無機化された.過酸化水素添加量には最適量があり,それは本実験条件では30 ㎎/L であり,TOC は40分で100 から40 に低下した.TOC 除去量あたりの必要オゾン量は1.9 ㎎ O3/㎎ C となり,1分子のシュウ酸を無機化する他ために1分子のオゾンが必要であることが示された.効率的なシュウ酸の分解は pH3で,30 の過酸化水素を添加し多段反応器で処理することが効果的であると判断される.
