Abstract The development of non‐precious metal cathode catalysts for anion exchange membrane fuel cells (AEMFC) is beneficial achieving a more affordable and sustainable H 2 economy. Herein, we propose polypyrrole, polythiophene, multi‐walled carbon nanotube‐based composite material (PPy/PTh/MWCNT) the electrocatalysis oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) at AEMFC cathode. PPy/PTh/MWCNT catalyst has tubular micro‐mesoporous structure with high specific surface area. elemental composition...
The transformation from hydrocarbons to a cleaner and sustainable H 2 economy is considered favorable approach meet the increasing energy demand. Among different technologies, fuel cell technology viable option for environmentally clean conversion (1). Anion-exchange membrane (AEMFC) one of suitable candidates this demand as they could be more cost-effective than their widely used acidic counterpart, proton-exchange cell. For providing an affordable AEMFC, non-precious metal catalyst (NPMC)...
