For the grid‐connected doubly‐fed induction generator (DFIG)‐based wind energy conversion system (WECS), many improved control algorithms have been developed for rotor‐side converter (RSC) to suppress overcurrents in under voltage dips. However, such objective can hardly be achieved severe grid fault conditions because of limitation RSCs output voltage. An analysis tool is proposed estimate theoretical limit RSC suppressing short‐circuit rotor currents during faults this study. The based on...
We describe an inertial rotation sensor with a 30-cm cylindrical proof-mass suspended from pair of 14 μm thick BeCu flexures. The angle between the and support structure is measured homodyne interferometers, which achieve noise level ∼5prad/Hz. entirely made vacuum compatible materials, center mass can be adjusted remotely.
