Mice bearing sarcoma 180 tumors were irradiated by 3000-MHz microwave at a power density of 40 mW/cm/sup 2/ for 2 h daily during 14 consecutive days. 50 newly prepared pyrimidine derivatives and trimethinium were tested for the inhibitory activity of vaccinia virus, Newcastle disease virus (NDV) western equine encephalomyelitis (WEE) multiplication using agar-diffusion plaque-inhibition test.
