Purpose: To evaluate the accuracy of imminent brain death (IBD) diagnosis in predicting (BD) by daily assessment Full Outline Unresponsiveness (FOUR) score and Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) with stem reflexes. In the pediatric setting, procurement of vascular access can be particularly difficult. Surgical venolysis was first technique described but, in recent years, literature has shown that ultrasound-guided implantation fewer complications. The principal aim this paper is to state how after a structured training place central lines, definitively abandoned our hospital. We also analyzed impact on duration procedures. Finally, number procedures performed per operator maintain quality standard achieved.

We present a case of an 11-years old child who underwent several plastic procedures for massive skin necrosis the right forearm.Pain control was achieved combining thoracic epidural and continuous brachial plexus block.The patient successfully weaned from chronic opiates.Possible advantages (i.e.improved graft perfusion, speeded opiates weaning) disadvantages (i.e.local anesthetic toxicity) this combined approach are briefly discussed.
