Herein, the influence of ultrasonic treatment (UST) on microstructure AISI‐304 and AISI‐316 stainless steels as two common commercial grades with similar properties but different levels stacking fault energy (SFE) is compared. The softening effect wave predeformed structure demonstrated by microhardness measurements, relaxation tensile residual stresses affirmed through X‐ray diffraction (XRD) peak shifting. Electron optical microscopy reveals a significant impact ultrasound reduction...

The effect of ultrasonic treatment (UST) and thermal annealing (THA) post-processes on the mechanical properties related microstructural mechanisms tensile pre-strained 316 stainless steel was investigated. It shown that both processes reduce microhardness yield point as well increasing elongation pre-deformed alloy. A 10% reduction 28% increase in observed after higher power UST (500 W), while an enhanced ductility 56% 41% measured for high-temperature THA (800°C) treated steel. increased...

In this study, the effect of high-power ultrasonic treatment (UST) in comparison with common thermal tempering Astaloy® CrS (0.85%Cr-0.15%Mo)-0.8%C pressed and sintered samples after quenching is investigated. Results from microhardness, EBSD, XRD show a promising level just 4 minutes UST by decreasing strain specimen dislocation annihilation, while annealing at 200° C for 1 hr resulted more softening lower hardness level. The results study confirm that Ultrasonic an effective rapid easy...

Organic geochemical investigations using thin layer chromatography-flame ionization detection (TLC-FID), Gas Chromatography (GC), Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), API gravimetry, elemental analysis, and isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IR-MS) were carried out on eleven oil samples from the Sarvak reservoir in Abadan Plain (SW Iran). Oil chemical composition, source, thermal maturity, age, lithology, depositional environment of these oils’ source rock determined this study. Moreover,...

The influence of Re addition on the thermal stability AlMo0.5NbTa0.5TiZr refractory high-entropy alloy was investigated. While base (Re-free) which consisted body-centered cubic (BCC) and hexagonal close-packed (HCP) phases, displayed instability. Upon aging treatment in temperature range 1000-1200 °C, Re-free decomposed into a multiphase microstructure. In contrast, Re-containing exhibited significantly improved phase under similar conditions. This enhanced attributed to decelerated atomic...
